BLS Ambulance includes

  • Crew: 2 State-certified EMT(s). 1 Attendant and 1 Driver
  • Monitoring: Vital signs, patient assessment, continuous observation and care
  • Capabilities: Oxygen administration, airway adjuncts, hemorrhage control, splinting, glucometry, AED, basic meds per protocol (if authorized)
  • Equipment: Stretcher with multi-point restraints, O2 delivery, suction, AED, vital sign devices

What to Expect on Transport Day

  1. Bedside Pickup & Identity Confirmation

    We coordinate with unit staff or family, review orders, and confirm the destination and special instructions.

  2. Safe Movement & Securement

    Lift-assist as needed, stretcher positioning, straps, and vehicle securement checks.

  3. In-Transit Monitoring

    Continuous monitoring with courteous communication and route planning to honor appointment times.

  4. Arrival & Handoff

    Patient is brought to bedside or check-in, and a clear handoff is provided to receiving staff.

  5. Return Trip (if scheduled)

    We time pickup with discharge/appointment completion and return to the originating location or next level of care.
